Job description

Tasks

  • Contribute to performance governance in Value Stream Management with a focus on reducing Non-Conformities (NC)
  • Analyse and monitor NC trends and root causes across all final assembly lines
  • Manage a portfolio of improvement actions related to NCs with a cross-functional perspective
  • Participate in the governance of the Outerskin Project based on LBIP (Lean Business Improvement Project) principles
  • Improve detection of fuselage outerskin defects through optimised inspection planning
  • Develop and implement defect evaluation criteria and measures to enhance documentation throughout the production process
  • Analyse and address outerskin defect trends, derive and implement appropriate measures
  • Contribute to the standardisation strategy of quality processes (e.g. control plans, inspection planning systems, operational surveillance)

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline (Bachelor level or higher)
  • Several years of professional experience in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management or Process Improvement
  • Solid knowledge of SAP and Skywise, experience with Google Workspace
  • Strong background in Change Management and Project Management
  • Business fluent German and English skills (min. C1), French is an advantage
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
  • CV in English is required
