About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Hotel Financial Controller (m/w/d) to support our hotels in Frankfurt and Hamburg. Based at Capri by Fraser in Frankfurt, you will oversee daily accounting operations, assist operational managers, and ensure accurate monthly financial reporting including GuVs and balance sheets, adhering to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial reporting and operational tasks
• Verify cash flow and safeguard cash assets
• Prepare bank reconciliations and statements
• Support hotel finance teams
• Coordinate creditor and debtor ledgers
• Compile monthly closures, forecasts, and variance analyses
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and German regulations within deadlines
• Reconcile monthly balances and prepare audit documentation
• Analyze financial results and key performance indicators
• Assist in annual budgeting processes
• Prepare reports for corporate reporting including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows
• Support internal and external audits and liaise with consultants and banks
• Collaborate with German finance teams and share best practices
• Handle VAT and municipal tax filings timely

Qualifications

• Positive, dynamic personality with a cooperative attitude and can-do mindset
• Proficient in German and English; additional languages are a plus
• Proven experience in finance, preferably in hospitality or service sectors
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
• Excellent system skills
• Self-organized and efficient working style
