Reports to: Principal Manager Identity and Digital Transformation
Location: DE Ratingen /UK Newbury / Paddington

What you’ll do

As a Solution Architect, you will have worldwide accountability for the architecture of Office IT infrastructure solutions. You will define the strategy and standards, evolve the architecture, and ensure compliance across all of Vodafone’s operating subsidiaries and central services. Your role involves translating business requirements into solution architecture, acting as the owner to align enterprise and application architecture goals. You will be a key enabler for delivering a consistent end-user experience and the basis for all Office IT services. This includes managing the Technical Provisioning Service for internal workforce processes and enabling external partners to utilize Vodafone's services. You will be responsible for identifying trends and technologies that impact the strategy of Office IT solutions, ensuring transparency of services, and providing consultancy to stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of chosen products, adjusting and changing the services architecture to meet new business or cost optimization requirements while ensuring consistent service delivery.

Who you are

  • Strong communication and presentation skills across functional and cultural boundaries
  • Ability to engage, inspire, and negotiate with stakeholders to align with Vodafone's business at appropriate risk levels
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure Services (e.g., network, server services, Microsoft Active Directory, Cloud Services)
  • Microsoft Certified (such as MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure / MCSE: Server Infrastructure)
  • Expertise in External Object Synchronisation (Multi Tenant Organisation) to enable external partners and organizations to utilize Vodafone's services
