Security Operations Analyst (m/f/d)

    Full Time Hybrid Wegenerstraße 13, 89231, Neu-Ulm With Professional Experience 4/11/25

Nuvisan is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Operations Analyst to join our global team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing endpoint detection and response, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat prevention activities across Europe and the global network. This role requires a strong understanding of both Linux and Microsoft Windows environments, as well as core knowledge of network routing, switching, and Python scripting.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and maintain endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems to ensure the security of our network and endpoints.

Respond to security incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and implement remediation measures.

Perform vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation process to mitigate risks.

Develop and implement threat prevention strategies to protect against potential security threats.

Monitor network traffic and analyze security events to identify and respond to potential threats.

Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place.

Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience

Demonstrable skills in Linux and Microsoft Windows environments.

Core understanding of network routing and switching.

Knowledgeable in Python scripting.

Fluent in English and German. Additional languages are a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting security operations in a large environment.
