As a Regional Sales Manager (f / m / d) in the new sales team for distribution transformers, you will drive our business goals with passion, dedication, creativity, and innovation. You will collaborate with various stakeholders inside and outside the company, focusing on developing and expanding the customer base. Your market knowledge and understanding of trends will contribute to the overall sales strategy, which you will implement in your region, supported by your network and collaboration with factories. This role requires strategic thinking, strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and competitive activities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute sales strategies for your region to meet sales targets, collaborating with marketing, product development, and other departments.
- Generate opportunities, manage bidding and pricing strategies with factories, lead customer negotiations, and conduct win/loss analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners across countries and industries.
- Coordinate with agents in your region, set business goals, and ensure these objectives are met.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to better position our products/services and advise key accounts.
- Present proposals, strategies, and progress reports effectively to stakeholders, and lead training programs and workshops internally and externally.
- Focus countries within your responsibility: Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and financial acumen.
- Deep knowledge of distribution transformers, regional markets, and industries, including market conditions, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Ability to travel within the region as needed, proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. Fluency in English is required; additional languages relevant to the region are a plus.
