Biotalent is working with a leading early phase Contract Research Organization (CRO) to find a skilled Study Physician for diabetological studies. This exciting opportunity is based in Mannheim, where you will play a pivotal role in the supervision of clinical-pharmacological studies and contribute to the scientific advancement of metabolic diseases.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise clinical-pharmacological studies involving healthy volunteers and patients with metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, obesity, fatty liver disease (MAFLD/MASH), lipid metabolism, and hypertension.
• Review study synopses and study protocols, providing clinical insights and feasibility assessments.
• Collaborate with the consulting team to address customer inquiries on medical matters.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific abstracts and publications.
• Foster and maintain relationships with academic partners and private practice physicians.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with extensive experience in internal medicine and/or general medicine.
• Experience in treating diabetes mellitus, obesity, fatty liver disease (MAFLD/MASH), lipid metabolism, and hypertension.
• Basic understanding of clinical trial processes (preferred).
• Curiosity and interest in scientific and clinical research.
• Proficient in both German and English communication.
• A responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented work ethic.
