Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for innovative energy solutions, such as battery & PV simulations, forecasting models, and optimization tools.
2. Research and experiment with new technologies, algorithms, and models in the energy sector.
3. Collaborate with the core tech team to ensure seamless integration of PoCs into our core products. Our technology stack is primarily Node.js-heavy, with NestJS on the backend and React on the frontend.
4. Design and implement APIs and microservices to support real-time analytics and data-driven decision-making.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features.
6. Work on a variety of topics rather than a single long-term project, ensuring a high level of diversity and learning opportunities.

Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields such as energy informatics, electrical engineering, computer science, etc.
• Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Java, or similar languages.
• Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with real-time data processing, modeling, and simulation.
• Understanding of APIs, cloud services, and system integration.
• Knowledge of scalable architectures and microservices design.
• Excitement about working in an R&D environment with evolving solutions.
