About the Role

I’m currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team of 4 engineers for a rapidly growing tech company in the vacation rental industry . This role involves working closely with product management and internal stakeholders to implement high-quality technical solutions for both internal and external users. Your team will drive innovations to improve the product offering, all while maintaining stability, scalability, and efficiency across the systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, balancing both technical leadership and hands-on development.
• Drive technical innovation and ensure the team delivers features that support both business growth and internal operations.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and other departments to align on goals, roadmap, and business context.
• Ensure applications are scalable, stable, and extendable, capable of handling high user growth.
• Foster a culture of autonomy, inclusivity, and ownership within the team.
• Provide guidance on architecture design, task planning, and code reviews.
• Support the continuous professional growth of your team, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
• Play a key role in recruitment efforts to build a top-performing team.
• Tech stack : Java 11+, Kotlin (Spring Boot), ReactJS, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, and more.
• Proven experience building backend or frontend applications, with a strong preference for experience in Java / Kotlin and Spring .
• Strong experience providing technical leadership, including architecture design, code reviews, and task planning.
• Demonstrated success as an informal team leader, able to build a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and drive clarity.
• Open to senior engineers looking to take the next step into engineering management.
