About our client

Our client is a leading investment firm with AuM of over €3.0 billion. With over 100 acquisitions since inception, they invest in small to medium-sized companies and support them in their organic growth and M&A strategies What the job involves

• Support the Head of Finance with the financing of the portfolio, including project management in the context of leveraged financing transactions, coordination of creditor due diligences and financial modelling
• Contribute to portfolio risk management and financial analysis : analysis of balance sheets and capital structures of portfolio companies including financial health checks, counterparty risks etc.
• Assisting CFOs with the execution of financial reporting and performance metrics post financing
• Support in the financial management of the fund

Who we are looking for

• A master's degree in economics, finance, or equivalent, with strong academic credentials
• Team player with an ambitious, curious, and proactive attitude, combined with a strong work ethic
• Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken German and English
• Previous relevant work experience in either leveraged finance, private credit, or debt advisory, at a reputable institution
• A strong analytical mindset with a focus on financials and legal documentation
