Amazon (OTS SC) has an immediate opening for a RAD Area Manager to support our new building RDE1. The Operations Technology Solutions Supply Chain organization manages hardware testing, deployment, new device launches, and project initiatives across Amazon Fulfillment IT. Key Responsibilities

  1. Steer all warehouse flow activities: receive, stow, pick, pack, provision, RMA.
  2. Manage all dock flow activities – inbound and outbound.
  3. Allocate daily and weekly RAD Support AA resources to meet demand.
  4. Coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks with the dock team.
  5. Monitor forecast vs. capacity for all standard RAD tasks.
  6. Support RAD Support AAs in daily activities.
  7. Ensure correct processing of requests in DSCS.
  8. Manage inventory and monitor KPIs.
  9. Oversee ICQA activities: cycle counts, inventory maintenance, physical storage (5S).
  10. Monitor threshold levels via DSCS and dashboards.
  11. Balance inventory between 3PL and RAD.
  12. Enforce safety guidelines and conduct H&S audits.
  13. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  14. Collaborate with a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
  15. Stand/walk for at least 8 hours; lift up to 35 pounds; work in variable temperatures.
  16. Create a culture of safety and wellbeing.
  17. Implement changes to improve quality and productivity.
  18. Lead projects to streamline processes and enhance service quality.
  19. Analyze performance and implement improvements.
  20. Standardize global practices with management colleagues.
  21. Build and develop a high-performing team.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
  • Ownership mindset; flexible to work overtime, nights, weekends.
  • Leadership experience with responsibility for team performance.
  • Efficiency-driven with process improvement experience.
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in German and English.
