(Junior) Assortment Analyst (m / f / d)

ABOUT YOU’s Supply Solutions & Analytics team provides insights, tools, and data solutions to all teams within the Supply Side of the organization, enabling faster and smarter business decisions and optimizing processes involving data. We are a diverse team of assortment experts, analytics specialists, data scientists, and machine-learning engineers from backgrounds such as business, consulting, mathematics, and computer science.

As a (Junior) Business Analyst (m/w/d), you will support our business teams by building dashboards and reports, performing analyses, and preparing data. You will collaborate closely with Supply teams (Buying, Planning, Inventory Management, etc.) to understand their daily operations and develop data solutions to improve their processes. Our goal is to translate business challenges into effective data analytics solutions.

Challenges the team is working on

Understanding the daily operations of diverse Supply teams such as Planning, Buying, Inventory Management, Partner Management, or Pricing.

• Developing analytics solutions to holistically improve processes
• Enabling stakeholders to access relevant data and tools for quick, effective decision-making

Responsibilities

Reviewing and improving reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

• Building and maintaining custom dashboards based on Google BigQuery (e.g., in Google Data Studio, Tableau) to display KPIs for each business unit
• Creating reports to support daily activities of business teams
• Enhancing and automating business processes
• Performing analyses using SQL across various data sources
• Developing a strong understanding of planning, inventory, and buying metrics and KPIs

Requirements

• A strong academic background with a degree in Economics, Business, or Business Analytics from a top university
• 1-2 years of professional experience or relevant internships in e-commerce, fashion, or retail
• Good understanding of the e-commerce business model and KPIs
• Experience with SQL or Python is a plus or willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Strong analytical skills and a good grasp of numbers
