IT Business Consultant MDM (Master Data Management - SAP)

The role involves supervising SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) master data projects and maintenance tasks in collaboration with GBS (Global Business Services) - MDM (Master Data Management) stakeholders. The individual will ensure the integrity and quality standards of SAP master data. Responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Master Data Workflows within SAP ERP systems (ECC and S/4HANA).
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business cases to develop effective Master Data solutions.
- Identify business demands for new or modified requirements based on ServiceNow tickets.
- Support application development and maintenance cycles for projects.
- Coordinate with team leads to align activities, priorities, and resources.
- Evaluate application incidents and provide timely solutions; create technical specifications.
- Plan, design, develop, test, and implement Master Data changes and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, including project work and maintenance.
- 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management roles from an IT perspective.
- Strong background in IT Business Consulting or similar experience.
- Experience in integration and support roles.
- Proficiency in SAP systems.
- Experience with S/4HANA migration projects is a plus.
