We are looking to fill a vacancy in the Plant Safety at the Leverkusen plant at the earliest possible date for a

• Supporting the occupational safety department in day-to-day business
• Advising and informing employees and superiors on occupational safety issues
• Independently carrying out inspections including documentation
• Carrying out training courses and briefings for employees and contractors
• Creating, checking and updating work, operating and procedural instructions
• Communication with internal / external stakeholders
• Organization and moderation of risk assessments
• Supporting production operations to achieve the KPIs in occupational safety
• Follow-up of legal changes
• Participation in plant changes as part of change management
• Participation in reporting
• Implementation of projects and special tasks

Education and Experience

Your Profile

• Successful completion of training as a master craftsman or technician
• Completed training as an occupational safety specialist (SiFa)
• At least 3 years' experience in the role ofin the role of safety specialist
• Sound knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations, technical rules, etc.
• Confident handling of common IT applications (MS Office etc.)
• Very good communication skills and a confident manner
• Assertiveness, ability to work in a team and initiative
• Basic knowledge of English
