Business Transformation & Architecture (BT&A) is the management and architecture consulting unit within SAP Customer Services & Delivery, assisting customers to benefit from technology and digitalization in their businesses. YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As a Principal Enterprise Architect RISE for Public & Energy - MU Germany (f/m/d), you will guide customers through digital transformations using cutting-edge SAP technologies, advancing the RISE with SAP initiative, promoting Clean Core principles, and accelerating SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) adoption.

You will utilize internal and external customer-specific information to develop a comprehensive reference Enterprise Architecture – RISE Model for our customers, aligning with their business objectives. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of highly motivated colleagues and increase customer value by activities such as:

• Developing reference architecture and transformation plans promoting SAP best practices
• Providing architecture guidance using RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles to ensure benefits from SAP’s standard cloud qualities
• Identifying innovation use cases that align with strategic and operational objectives
• Advising customer management on architecture and transformation activities
• Identifying and mitigating technical adoption risks
• Aligning customers and partners with SAP’s Clean Core strategy and accelerating BTP adoption

YOUR PROFILE

We seek dynamic, advisory-minded colleagues from a multinational environment who can effectively drive standards, organizational change, and innovation.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Informatics, or any comparable education
• 9-11+ years of practical experience advising management and working as an enterprise architect and/or transformation advisor in a multinational environment
• Proven experience delivering enterprise business transformation, aligning stakeholder priorities with system architectures and roadmaps
• Services industry knowledge
• Experience delivering at least one full end-to-end SAP implementation from process design to post-GoLive support and optimization
• S/4HANA technical and/or SAP S/4HANA application/functional knowledge and experience
• Professional training and certifications (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) are a plus
• Solid knowledge of SAP’s strategy, latest product portfolio, and their business impact
• Understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with senior management and C-level executives
• Strategic mindset, continuous learning orientation, and business acumen
• Flexibility and adaptability in new environments for rapid growth
• Fluent in English and German
