Manager (Munich Office)

OC&C is a global strategy consulting firm with 11 offices around the world. We work for senior executives, providing solutions to some of the most exciting strategic problems in consulting today. We specialise in Retail, Media & Technology, FMCG, B2B, B2C services, and private equity.

Due to our growth, we are looking for Managers to join our team.

Position Summary:

• Lead OC&C case teams and projects, with day-to-day client contact
• Manage client relationships on projects

About The Candidate

Responsibilities:

Direct, manage the analysis, design, proposal, implementation, and ongoing delivery of consulting projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and results.

Assist in client pitches and help develop client relationships.

Rapidly gain acceptance within the company and clients as a strong, professional manager who can provide clear thought leadership.

Help position OC&C as a leader in strategic consultancy.

Qualifications:

Highest academic achievement from first-class academic institutions.

At least seven years of experience in complex strategy consulting projects, including experience from a blue-chip and/or strategy consultancy group.

Experience managing work streams and teams.

A proven track record of developing successful relationships at senior executive to Board level.

Personal Specification:

Analytical, clear thinker capable of recognizing critical issues and focusing attention accordingly. Highly numerate, hypothesis and issue-driven.

A pragmatic, enthusiastic, and structured implementer with the ability to create and maintain pace while ensuring focused energies.

Appreciation for rigour.

Strong communication skills for internal and external communication.

Credible at Board level with the ability to relate well to clients and colleagues.

High business ethics: honesty, respect for individuals, and cultural neutrality.

Down-to-earth, friendly, and approachable.

Language Requirements:

Native-level German and excellent English.
