For the Service and Operations team in the IT Service Management department of the Episcopal Vicariate General, we are looking to fill a full-time position in Trier as soon as possible (up to 40% mobile working possible) as a
IT Service Administrator (m/f/d)
The IT Service Management department provides the employees of the diocese with extensive IT and communication services. It is responsible for IT procurement, service, provider and contract management, support and operations.
These are your tasks:
- Administrative work in a complex IT environment (currently approx. 3,500 users, Microsoft 365, Intune, Active Directory, Entra, SAP/ERP, cloud applications/SaaS, network infrastructure, Linux servers, Windows servers, Modern Workplace, document management systems, digital administration, process digitization, service management, printing and scanning services, telephony, identity and access management, information security, business continuity)
- Receiving, processing and resolving faults and service requests (fluid level 1/level 2 support), supporting our IT users in the use of existing IT services
- Use and further development of our IT service management application
- Contributing to the digitalization strategy of the Diocese of Trier by further developing the system landscape and services in collaboration with our requirements management team
- Carrying out project tasks as part of a team
What you should bring in terms of professional and personal qualifications:
- Completed bachelor's or university/university of applied sciences degree in computer science, or training (e.g. as an IT specialist with several years of professional experience), or an equivalent qualification
- Very good administrative knowledge in as many of the topics listed above as possible
- Enthusiasm for technology and interest in new technologies that support our users in completing their tasks in the best possible way
- A strong communicator, reliable, service-oriented and team-oriented personality
- Relevant professional experience, up-to-date IT knowledge combined with the desire to develop further
- Ability to work independently, in a networked and structured manner
- Very good written and spoken German and knowledge of English relevant to the position
