Our Cyber Security Operations team provides security services, consulting, develops and maintains orchestrated security workflows, and closely cooperates with our colleagues from CERT & Threat Detection Engineering.
Your tasks
- Assist our cybersecurity teams by delivering, operating, and refining critical security systems and tools, including Cloud Security Infrastructure, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR.
- Advise our business units and cybersecurity colleagues on evaluation of cybersecurity topics and strategic decisions impacting the E.ON group. Develop effective, user-friendly solutions for technical cybersecurity challenges, especially within our CERT and Detection teams.
- Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, infrastructure, and tools for the Security Operations service, ensuring adherence by both internal teams and external service providers.
Your profile
- Completed academic degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Several years of hands-on experience in IT/server administration and/or practical cybersecurity.
- Proficiency with security tools such as MS Sentinel, MS Defender XDR (Defender Suite), and PA XSOAR, or equivalent EDR/XDR tools.
- Strong expertise in managing public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Good communication abilities, capable of articulating complex issues clearly.
- Proven ability to manage complex tasks with well-developed project management skills.
- Language skills: Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
