Overview

We are looking for a proactive IT Asset Manager to join our team at our site in Hilden (near Düsseldorf). Your role will focus on supporting ITAM initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance by developing and maintaining a comprehensive IT Asset Management strategy as part of a collaborative team.

Your Tasks

  1. Implementation Support: Assist in implementing IT Asset Management practices using the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with team objectives and organizational needs.
  2. Lifecycle Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including acquisition, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirement.
  3. Inventory Accuracy: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software assets, promptly resolving discrepancies.
  4. Vendor & Procurement Management: Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to facilitate cost-effective procurement and contract management for IT assets.
  5. Compliance: Ensure IT assets comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Your Profile

  • You hold a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have solid experience in IT Asset Management, especially in lifecycle management and inventory control.
  • You have hands-on experience with ServiceNow (e.g., HAM, SAM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog) or similar ITSM platforms.
  • You possess a good understanding of the ITIL framework and how to apply it in IT Asset Management.
  • You bring knowledge of IT procurement and vendor management, and ideally hold a relevant certification such as CITAM.
  • You are fluent in German and have strong English communication skills.
