As Junior Information Security Manager, you will be part of the Information Security and Data Protection Team, learning or expanding your knowledge and abilities in all team-related tasks. You will report directly to the CISO / DPO. Based on your abilities and interests, you will take responsibility for security projects and processes, manage audits, and create or improve documentation. You will work closely with other departments on diverse topics related to Information Security and Data Protection. Your goal will be to maintain and improve our state-of-the-art security organization and setup, and to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards (including ISO27001, BAIT, and GDPR). Within a small team, you will approach security holistically and practically, supported by the team to become proficient in all related topics and issues.

  • Ensure awareness and alignment on security and data protection topics
  • Execute and improve security policies, controls, and processes
  • Align IT and business processes with security goals
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and improve processes and systems
  • Support teams and projects, proposing practical solutions on information security and data protection strategies and goals
  • Interpret and implement requirements, policies, and standards
  • Handle customer requests, including proposals and audit requests
  • Manage vulnerabilities, incidents, and deviations from policies/standards
  • Prepare and support audits, penetration tests, red team exercises, and other security assessments

Your profile

  • Passion for Information Security and/or Data Protection, considering physical, human, and process aspects (not only technology). Practical experience in implementing related systems and processes is a plus.
  • Ability to understand and align stakeholders on a shared vision
  • Capability to explain security topics to non-technical audiences and think creatively to achieve objectives
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Motivated to learn about new topics, technologies, concepts, and use cases
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English (CEF C2 or above; native English is a plus)
