Our Monheim facility is the workplace of 90 RD&E associates from 14 nationalities and serves as the European headquarters for Ecolab’s R&D activities. All research and development work for the Institutional, Textile Care, Food & Beverage and Health Care divisions in Europe is carried out here.

We are looking for a:

Packaging Engineer (m/f/d ; 6-month contract) - based in Monheim am Rhein

Your responsibilities

  1. Support integration of packaging components into a specification system
  2. Author technical specifications based on packaging performance requirements
  3. Able to read and compare technical drawings and technical data sheets
  4. Work directly with current Ecolab vendors and third parties to gather data on a variety of packaging components
  5. Communicate cross-functionally within RD&E and additionally to corporate functions such as Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain

Your profile

  1. University degree either in packaging engineering, chemical or mechanical engineering
  2. Good communication & collaboration skills, excellent ability to work in team environment
  3. Good team player
  4. Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  5. Fluency in English is a must
  6. Ability in French is highly preferred
