HR Payroll & Reporting Specialist (m/w/d)

Join AVANTGARDE Experts as an HR Payroll & Reporting Specialist (m/w/d) in Hamburg. We are a staffing and recruiting firm specializing in HR & Office roles across Germany. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to fill this role in a permanent position.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and process monthly payroll in collaboration with our external service provider.
2. Serve as the point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll, tax, social security, and time management issues.
3. Maintain personal data, digital personnel files, and HR systems.
4. Generate certificates and liaise with authorities, health insurance companies, and social security agencies.
5. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including vacation accruals.
6. Create HR reports and participate in controlling activities.
7. Contribute to HR projects and payroll & personnel process improvements.

Qualifications

1. Completed commercial training, preferably with further qualification in payroll or tax.
2. At least 2 years experience in payroll processing.
3. Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social security law.
4. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with HR or payroll systems.
5. Enjoys project work and actively shaping processes.
6. Structured, service-oriented, with team spirit and a sense of responsibility.
7. Fluent in German and very good English skills, both spoken and written.
