Your Contribution

  1. You are responsible for commissioning, upgrades, and updates of internally developed or purchased camera-based inspection systems at suppliers in Switzerland and within SCHOTT's global production network.
  2. You will perform FAT/SAT and qualification activities in accordance with GMP standards and ensure proper documentation.
  3. You will train local employees and experts from maintenance and production departments at our sites.
  4. You identify potential improvements in systems and processes and relay this feedback to the development team.
  5. You ensure second-level support for all test equipment within the production network and coordinate interfaces with support units or suppliers.
  6. You act as the inspection systems expert within the global machine network and may serve as project manager for rollout or upgrade projects if needed.

Your Profile

  1. You have a technical apprenticeship and additional training as a TS technician.
  2. You possess at least 6 years of experience in maintaining global production machines/systems, preferably with camera-based systems.
  3. You have strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with a methodical work style.
  4. You are proactive, motivated, and able to work independently and in teams.
  5. Fluent in German and English is mandatory; additional languages are a plus.
  6. You are willing to travel 40-60% to worldwide production sites.
