Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic team in Berlin on a permanent contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving international company, playing a key part in financial excellence and strategic growth.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Manage balance sheet accounting independently for our corporate entities.
2. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to IFRS, and coordinate activities for the group’s annual financial statements.
3. Collaborate with Group Reporting to ensure accurate account frameworks and support group consolidation.
4. Lead projects such as SAP optimization, migration, and company setup.
5. Act as the main contact for auditors and tax advisors.
6. Oversee operational management of the General Ledger, continuously improving processes.

Your Profile

1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification.
2. 8-10 years of experience in balance sheet accounting.
3. Deep expertise in IFRS and HGB.
4. Strong SAP ERP skills and advanced MS Office proficiency, especially Excel.
5. Fluent in German and English.
