Product Lifecycle Manager (m/f/d)

Job scope: Full time, 40 working hours p. w.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams for product-related changes, ensuring effective collaboration and communication (e.g. change of material, tooling, supplier)
  • Manage and contribute to Change Control tickets, thoroughly evaluating and documenting actions in line with Quality Management Systems and regulations (EN ISO 13485, MDR, MDSAP)
  • Evaluate Change Control proposals and conduct pre-studies involving inter-dependencies, ambiguity, unpredictability, and high risk/impact, especially for complex product changes
  • Provide product support throughout the entire lifecycle, acting as a product expert to resolve issues
  • Plan and secure the transfer of new product developments and product changes to production
  • Participate in risk management activities according to EN ISO 14971 for medical devices
  • Contribute to the development of processes within the area of responsibility and international interfaces

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in project management with multiple stakeholders and inter-dependencies, particularly in lifecycle management or related fields within the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of change control processes and regulatory requirements (EN ISO 13485, MDR, MDSAP)
  • Knowledge about design for manufacturing medical devices is a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
