Join the Bank of Communications Frankfurt Branch as a Risk Analyst, where you'll become an integral part of one of China's leading financial institutions. Founded in 2007, our Frankfurt branch serves as a vital connection for trade between China and Europe. With a global presence spanning over 2,900 branches, including key locations in Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, and Macau, we offer a dynamic environment for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Support daily risk management activities, including risk reporting, limit checks, and stress tests.
  2. Monitor the general market situation and the bank's risk profile.
  3. Communicate with the Chinese Head Office regarding risk management issues and prepare regular reports.
  4. Assist in implementing new regulations and guidelines related to risk management.
  5. Coordinate with external and internal auditors.
  6. Participate in risk-related tasks such as annual risk inventory, capital planning, operational risk self-assessment, and liquidity risk forecasting.
  7. Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager, including support functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience in risk analysis within the banking industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, Chinese, and German are preferred.

Over 2,900 branches are operated worldwide, including in Hong Kong, New York, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul, Frankfurt, and Macau. The branch acts as a bridge for trade between China and Europe, offering services such as international payment processing, overseas trading, lending, deposit banking, foreign exchange trading, cash management, and money transfers. The branch comprises seven departments: Marketing, Treasury, Accounting, Credit and Risk, Business Processing Center, IT, and Business Administration, employing about 40 Chinese and German staff.
