Build and implement talent strategies to meet business/site plans and objectives
Partner with business and site management in recruiting efforts. Work with the TA team to design and implements strategies that support the organization's ability to recruit top talent and build talent pipelines
In collaboration with the Marketing and TA teams build and promote the KLA employer brand in the region; partner with universities and relevant organizations to attract a diverse pool of candidates
Take a leadership role in developing an organizational culture consistent with the KLA’s mission and core values
Partner with and coach business unit leaders to drive talent and performance management programs, including Focal Review and Employee Engagement initiatives
Assess employee capabilities and assist executives, management, and employees in the development process. Influence and help management understand and articulate employee needs and motivations
Successfully engage all levels of employees from leadership to individual contributors providing guidance and recommendations on work issues of diverse scope
Define, analyze, and measure outcomes of HR programs through data analysis, reporting and presentations
Provide guidance and expertise on handling of employee relations issues and conduct investigations as needed
Assess regional regulatory compliance and actively educate and report to management on potential areas of concern, if any (includes management of internal and external audits)
Passionately drive the Inclusion and Diversity agenda within the region ensuring this is a focus for both leadership and HR
Drive the harmonization of terms, conditions, and policies and systemization and standardization of processes in order to improve efficiency
Promote organizational change through timely communication, advice, and direction
Take an active role in business unit management meetings e.g., annual strategic planning, monthly and quarterly reviews, site management meetings as required.
Drive the HR strategy for the KLA Dresden site
Lead or participate in regional/ global HR projects as required
Work closely with Centre of Excellence partners to drive improvements (L&D, C&B, I&D, Legal, communications)
Manage a team of HR professionals in support of the above objectives
Minimum Qualifications
Significant progressive Human Resources management experience including HR leadership roles with a demonstrable track record of providing support to senior management/executives
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
Work comfortably in a fast-growing matrix organization
Track record in HR project management and process improvements
An intuition for business and an understanding of the financial implications of HR initiatives.
Understanding of regional employment laws and regulations with experience of working in a culturally and geographically diverse business environment
Experience in business analysis to implement relevant reporting as needed by the business
Ability to promote fairness and integrity in the implementation of HR policies, programs, and practice
Experience managing M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) activity is highly advantageous
Proven business focus with the ability to understand business strategy and serve as a partner to site management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (German and English)
Customer and results orientation; positive influencing skills.
Ability to deliver HR solutions within a fast-paced and exacting operational context. Must demonstrate perseverance and an ability to meet time scales.
Ability to build, lead, and develop a Human Resources team and to work collaboratively across the business units and corporate functions and partner with individuals across different geographies, as needed.
