Lab Technician (f/m/d)

Become part of the R&D Team at our green chemistry startup and work on discovering novel catalysts for the energy transition in a human-robot collaboration. In this role, you will learn state-of-the-art techniques ranging from inorganic synthesis to device fabrication. Furthermore, you will gain exposure to the startup scene and commercial product development.

Tasks

• Inorganic synthesis, thin-film deposition, and device fabrication
• Performing electrochemical testing and characterization
• Organize the laboratory and the chemical inventory
• Use data management tools and operate automated laboratory equipment

Requirements

Your profile:

• CTA training or Chemielaborant:in apprenticeship preferred; B.Sc. in Chemistry will be considered
• More than 2 years of work experience in the laboratory
• Diligent and detail-oriented, practical mindset
• Fast learner with a proactive approach
• Good command of English (B1); German skills are a plus

Nice to have:

• Practical experience in electrochemistry and/or thin-film deposition
• Interest in startups, digital tools, and climate technologies
