Position:Service Engineer for Software Integration in the field

Location: Bremen, Germany

Tasks:

• Troubleshooting and fault rectification (electrical/mechanical) on customer systems
• Consultation and coordination of own activities at the customer's site
• Carrying out services on the customer's systems
• Documentation of services carried out and creation of error logs
• Integration of software in customer devices at locations throughout Germany
• Testing software components according to specifications
• Carrying out acceptance tests of IT system integrated platforms
• Assuming responsibility for compliance with costs, quality and deadlines
• Interface coordination with the national and international companies involved in the conversion site
• Maintenance of complex database applications
• Supporting the creation of training, maintenance and operating concepts for military customers
• Supporting the development department during the design phase
• Participation in industry and customer training courses
• Support with costing and concept creation in the areas of integration, installation and commissioning as well as technical and logistical support

Requirements:

• Completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering or IT, preferably with additional qualification
• Knowledge of defence technology products is an advantage
• Valid licence to drive category B vehicles, preferably also BE and C1E
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Experience in handling hazardous substances and protective equipment
• Knowledge of software and hardware integration
• Basic knowledge of SAP
• High willingness to travel
• Good technical understanding
• Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility as well as a service-orientated manner
• High degree of care, precision and quality awareness
• Strong intercultural competence
