Join our team to drive the growth of a leading global SaaS in construction and manufacturing life-cycle assessment (LCA), amplifying both our business and positive climate impact.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team, working to decarbonise buildings and construction, which currently accounts for around 40% of global carbon emissions.

We are close to doubling our business each year, and you will play a pivotal role in achieving this within the Manufacturing sector. Join us to help grow a business that is key to delivering a zero-carbon future for all.

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and understanding customer needs to help them find solutions that ensure their success with our software. This role involves outbound sales, engaging with both existing and potential customers to expand our market presence. You will primarily work with manufacturing companies in BENELUX and across Western Europe.

This full-time, permanent position is remote-based for candidates in Western Europe, preferably in the BENELUX region.

What you will do:

  • Hunt and close strategic new business sales in BENELUX
  • Expand the offering of Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) tools in the Manufacturing sector
  • Stay updated on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs, and practices
  • Educate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools, EPD, and low-carbon construction
  • Support our LCA software product development as needed
  • Attend industry events across Western Europe when necessary

What you need:

  • A proactive, hunter mentality in sales
  • 3+ years of B2B Sales, Account Management, or Business Development experience with a successful growth record
  • A background in engineering, comfortable with solution selling
  • Ability and motivation to maximize the potential of your territory
  • A drive to help others succeed and solve obstacles
  • Preferably, knowledge of LCA/EPD and their significance in construction/manufacturing
  • Fast learning skills and a desire for continuous improvement
  • A customer- and results-oriented attitude with a hands-on approach
  • Curiosity and ability to understand clients’ perspectives
  • Full proficiency in English and fluency in French or Dutch; additional languages are a bonus
