We are hiring a (Senior) Data Engineer (f/m/d) to work in our development team.

Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain a data platform for processing charging network operations data in a cloud-based environment.
• Collaborate with data scientists on solutions for enabling AI-based data processing.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams to expand existing integrations with other eMobility services.
• Work independently on work packages and tasks within an agile team.
• Contribute to roadmap planning, estimate tasks, present work results, and track progress.
• Continuously improve existing features and integrations to ensure scalability, maintainability, and security of our data infrastructure, including data quality and production stability through proactive monitoring.
• Foster a collaborative team environment by mentoring team members on data solutions, involving them in decision-making, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
• Degree in computer science, informatics, or a comparable field, or proven experience in software engineering for data-driven solutions.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Experience with cloud-based data services and platforms (e.g., Elasticsearch, Kafka, MQTT).
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
• An independent, analytical, and pragmatic working style, with the ability to see the big picture.
• Strong collaboration skills, with a love for involving users and team members to test and validate solutions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing eMobility solutions (e.g., OCPP, EV chargers) is a plus.
• Fluent in German and English.
