We are looking for an accomplished procurement professional to take on the role of Project Buyer (m/f/x). You will shape category strategies, lead sourcing activities, and contribute to the success of our organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute sourcing and purchasing activities for the Pfaffenhofen Plant.
• Support cross-functional departments in identifying market players.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and select vendors that meet business needs.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Develop and implement contractual agreements.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal regulations and resolve gaps.
• Create and maintain procurement processes from Purchase Orders to goods receipt.
• Identify exceptions proactively and obtain necessary approvals.
• Drive standardization and harmonization of procurement processes.
• Participate in procurement monitoring activities.
• Contribute to savings, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and KPI fulfillment.
• Conduct activities in accordance with DSE policies and external regulations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or vocational business training.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work autonomously under pressure.
• Strong negotiation skills with basic legal knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, intercultural competency.
• Problem-solving orientation and customer focus.
• Analytical, reliable, and precise in work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP MM, eSourcing.


• Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
