Project Buyer (m/f/x) Procurement

We are looking for an accomplished procurement professional to take on the role of Project Buyer (m/f/x). You will shape category strategies, lead sourcing activities, and contribute to the success of our organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute sourcing and purchasing activities for the Pfaffenhofen Plant.
- Support cross-functional departments in identifying market players.
- Lead sourcing initiatives and select vendors that meet business needs.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers.
- Develop and implement contractual agreements.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Ensure sourcing activities comply with internal regulations and resolve gaps.
- Create and maintain procurement processes from Purchase Orders to goods receipt.
- Identify exceptions proactively and obtain necessary approvals.
- Drive standardization and harmonization of procurement processes.
- Participate in procurement monitoring activities.
- Contribute to savings, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and KPI fulfillment.
- Conduct activities in accordance with DSE policies and external regulations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or vocational business training.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience; pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work autonomously under pressure.
- Strong negotiation skills with basic legal knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, intercultural competency.
- Problem-solving orientation and customer focus.
- Analytical, reliable, and precise in work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP MM, eSourcing.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
