(Sr) Engineering Manager - Renewables -

An opportunity for an exceptional and experienced (Sr) Engineering Manager to join the German team of a leading European IPP with activities across all onshore technologies. You will be responsible for all engineering activities during development and construction phases of onshore projects (solar, BESS...). The position is based in Germany and can be worked fully remotely.

• Responsibilities :
• Act as technical lead on projects, supporting development from early stages to Financial Close and construction completion.
• Lead technical assessments for M&A opportunities, including managing external Technical Advisors.
• Define project design and equipment based on site conditions and LCOE optimisation.
• Develop Owner’s Requirements and review EPC contracts, bids, and detailed designs.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, and conduct site visits during development and construction.
• Requirements :
• 8-10+ years of experience in Solar PV / BESS, with a strong track record on large-scale projects in Europe.
• Background in similar roles within a Developer, IPP, or Technical Advisor environment.
• Deep understanding of PV components (modules, inverters, structures, trackers); BESS knowledge is a plus.
• Strong skills in layout design, Energy Yield Assessment (EYA), and performance analysis.
