Responsibilities

• Support localization of English marketing and software assets into German using TeamViewer’s Translation Management System.
• Ensure translation quality through automatic Quality Assurance checks and linguistic reviews.
• Assist with localizing and maintaining glossaries, translation style guides, and Translation Memories following TeamViewer’s tone of voice.
• Support our Localization Project Managers on various projects to improve our localization tech stack.

Requirements

• Enrolled student in translation, linguistics, German studies, or related fields.
• Availability of 20 hours/week (up to 40 hours/week during semester breaks).
• Native German speaker with exceptional fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Interest in software and technology, with advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of CAT-Tools and Translation Management Systems is advantageous.
• Team player capable of working independently and efficiently.
• Proactive, organized, and open-minded with a positive work attitude.
