Team and Projects

Our team specializes in mobile apps, 3D visualization, computer vision, augmented, and virtual reality. We develop mixed reality solutions for in-car applications, focusing on interaction design and motion sickness mitigation during vehicle operation.

Your Responsibilities

1. Conduct a scientific literature review on AR applications in vehicles.
2. Design and develop a prototype AR application based on your review.
3. Evaluate the prototype through scientific methods such as surveys or user studies.
4. Document your process and findings for your master’s thesis and contribute to scientific publications.
5. Potential research topics include improving interaction precision with deep learning, designing for mobile AR/VR environments, text input in dynamic settings, synchronization of virtual and real environments, and mitigating motion sickness in moving vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ongoing Master’s in computer science, media informatics, human-machine interaction, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Unity and C#.
• Basic experience with AR/VR/MR technologies and head-mounted displays.
• Experience in scientific research and conducting studies is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for AR/VR, strong analytical skills, motivation, good communication, teamwork, proficiency in German or English, and a driver’s license are desirable.
