Your Responsibilities

• Properly record all ongoing business transactions for JTL's subsidiaries (debtors, creditors, general ledger, banks, fixed assets).
• Handle VAT pre-registrations.
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and support monthly reporting.
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
• Identify potential process optimizations in accounting and actively contribute ideas for solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience as a financial accountant, either professionally or through studies.
• Experience in payroll accounting is a plus.
• Experience working in medium-sized companies, preferably in e-commerce/online retail.
• Proficiency with accounting software, ideally Datev, and eagerness to expand skills.
• Structured and conscientious work style.
• Willingness to keep accounting knowledge current and expand it.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Friendly and open communication style, with engagement.
• Excellent German (C1) and English skills, both spoken and written.
