About the role

Are you a seasoned Financial Controller seeking an opportunity to make a real difference? We’re looking for a driven professional to join our Finance team in Berlin and play a key role in shaping our financial operations.

You will take full ownership of group reporting and financial analysis across all Aira GmbH entities, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

Collaboration is central—you’ll work closely with our finance team in Germany and our Finance HQ in Stockholm, managing external relationships with auditors to ensure compliance and best practices.

What you will be doing

  • Prepare monthly group reporting for German entities in accordance with IFRS
  • Conduct financial analysis of accounts and reports
  • Ensure statutory financial reports comply with HGB for German entities
  • Coordinate with external service providers, auditors, and tax advisors for compliance
  • Identify and drive improvement initiatives for the accounting team
  • Collaborate with Group Accounting to align on standards and processes

Your Profile

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with Big4 background
  • Knowledge of HGB and IFRS reporting requirements
  • Experience working in a subsidiary of a larger international group
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience with MS Dynamics / Business Central / Navision is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German
