We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Manager to represent the business unit to our customers in a highly professional and ethical manner, promoting product leadership in component and systems technology.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Represent the business unit to our customers in a professional and ethical manner, promoting product leadership in component and systems technology.
  2. Manage a team to meet growth, profitability, EVA, market share, investment initiatives, and product leadership objectives for respective customers.
  3. Lead global commercial negotiations for respective customers and ensure compliance with annual goals and objectives.
  4. Monitor market dynamics, including customer and competitor developments, and communicate relevant information to the Product Business Director for market sensing and develop sales forecasts, monitoring market trends for monthly forecast adjustments.
  5. Develop and deploy comprehensive customer and pricing strategies, with input from cross-functional teams, to improve profitability and growth.
  6. Understand and articulate the market share, competitive position, and profitability at assigned accounts.
  7. Develop and implement the customer interface strategy, build strong relationships with key decision-makers and sponsors at key accounts, and manage daily activities.
  8. Create proactive new business opportunity plans, track progress towards sales objectives.
  9. Own customer satisfaction, coordinate globally on customer issues, monitor performance on key supplier metrics, and pursue corrective actions as needed.
  10. Ensure compliance with contract review procedures and commercial policies.
  11. Manage and participate in the development and scheduling of special projects and customer events.
  12. Coordinate globally on customer issues as required.
  13. Develop sales forecasts for the Long Range Plan (LRP) and monitor market trends for monthly forecast updates.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Significant sales or engineering experience related to the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
