The Role
EU Customer Fulfilment (CF) Process Engineers team is a group of operational leaders driving process standardization and continuous improvement for the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. This team has the goal to capture all the best practices from top performing sites and validate them as new official standard for all the network. They accelerate the implementation of technological advancements and they strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for the operational leaders across the FC network. EU CF Process Experts (PE) ensures the operations teams are equipped with the functional expertise to successfully deliver expected gains for technology advances and network wide process improvements. The team drives process control, with the outcome of minimizing variation between shifts, buildings and regions, to deliver strong performance. The team works to improve the input metrics for each of the process paths by prioritizing and channeling the required resources among Process System Engineering (PSE), ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) PM, Central Ops, Launch teams, Operations Engineering, Reliability and Maintenance (RME) and many other Teams.
• Degree from an accredited institution
• Proficiency in written and spoken English (Common European Framework of Reference C1)
• Experience from Industrial Engineering, Business Process Engineering, Quality, Operations or Logistics
• Strong professional experience with Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
• Proficiency in German
• Previous experience in multi-country/cross regional CI environment
• Project Portfolio Management experience
• Relevant knowledge of change management and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong ability interpreting & communicating analytics and presenting to senior leadership
• Excellent communication skills and detail orientation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to motivate a team
