Your role

As a Video Streaming Engineer, you will work at the forefront of video streaming, developing and optimizing solutions that enhance streaming experience and efficiency. You will engage with international media and streaming companies, helping them optimize their services using real-world analytics and cutting-edge standards like Common Media Client Data (CMCD) and Content Steering.

1. Drive industry-leading innovations in live streaming, video delivery, and experience measurement, leveraging big data and AI/ML technologies.
2. Implement and test advanced streaming solutions in collaboration with top-tier media companies.
3. Investigate streaming issues using deep analytics from our EINBLIQ.IO platform and provide hands-on improvements.
4. Develop and optimize our own data analytics and ML-driven monitoring tools to detect and resolve quality issues proactively.
5. Collaborate with international streaming services to enhance their CDN and multi-CDN strategies.
6. Support customers in running stellar streaming services by providing insights and recommendations based on our data analytics.

Your profile

1. Expertise in streaming technologies (HLS, MPEG-DASH, CDN delivery, and video/audio codecs).
2. Experience with client-side video player frameworks such as hls.js, dash.js, Android Media3, AVKit, Roku, or RDK.
3. Proficiency in analyzing datasets with tools like Grafana, Tableau, Looker and/or using Python, Jupyter Notebooks is beneficial.
4. Hands-on experience with CMCD, Content Steering, or other technologies in the context of streaming is a plus.
5. Understanding of network technologies related to video delivery.
6. Experience in automated detection systems based on AI/ML is a clear plus.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus but not required.
