Job Overview

This role involves project responsibility for cross-departmental initiatives related to accounting, from planning to implementation, including ERP rollouts, system migrations, and process optimizations. You will develop ideas for digitalizing accounting processes, focusing on AI integration, and act as a central interface between accounting, IT, and other departments. Key responsibilities also include managing processes within Record-to-Report, maintaining process documentation, and developing the central chart of accounts.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, business administration, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB accounting standards
• Understanding of Record-to-Report processes and their efficient design within a corporate context
• Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and high IT affinity
• Knowledge in project and process management tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style; able to work independently and carefully
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit, with proficiency in English preferred
