For the Development of Model Series Derivatives department, we are seeking an AMG Steinbeis Student Junior Project Manager for Complete Vehicles starting in August 2025 (m/f/d). Job Number: 17549 Location: Affalterbach near Stuttgart

Your Responsibilities

  1. Independent project management and support of sub-scopes in complete vehicle development and production.
  2. Ensuring project objectives regarding functions, costs, time, weight, and quality.
  3. Organization and management of the product development phase in collaboration with relevant departments.
  4. Maintenance of the parts list for the complete vehicle project.
  5. Securing series start-up in the production plant and managing project tasks throughout product development.
  6. Development of existing project management methods and supporting overall project management within the organization, both within and outside Mercedes-AMG.
  7. Coordination of escalation issues, organization of committees, and project reporting.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  2. Strong determination, assertiveness, and teamwork skills.
  3. Structured approach to solving complex problems.
  4. Practical experience in project management.
  5. Knowledge of project planning, especially milestone planning.
  6. Excellent communication, conflict resolution skills, and enthusiasm for automotive technology.
