The group reporting manager is responsible for preparing high-quality financial reports to support decision-making for all relevant stakeholders and shareholders. The role also involves driving continuous improvement and innovation in ib vogt's reporting systems and processes.

The responsibilities include

  1. Accurate and timely preparation of financial reports
  2. Ensuring the integrity of financial reports for all relevant stakeholders and shareholders (e.g., management reports, banking reports, business unit reports)
  3. Overseeing the consolidation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS and/or German GAAP, demonstrating ownership and accountability for successful delivery
  4. Performing detailed variance analysis on financial reports
  5. Presenting financial reports and variance analysis to all relevant stakeholders and shareholders
  6. Managing and improving financial reporting systems and tools, driving continuous innovation and improvement in financial reporting processes
  7. Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline reporting processes and enhance financial data accuracy
  8. Ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial reports across ib vogt group
  9. Training and guiding team members across ib vogt on group reporting standards, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement
  10. Managing projects for group-wide implementation, standardization, and harmonization of financial reporting processes and tools

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, accounting, economics, MBA, or industrial engineering with a focus on (group) accounting, financial reporting, finance, or auditing
  2. 5+ years of professional experience in group accounting, reporting, and consolidations, ideally within a group or multinational environment and/or in an auditing firm
  3. Key technical accounting skills according to IFRS and/or German GAAP
  4. Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal. German is a plus
  5. Proficiency in financial reporting tools
  6. Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  7. Practical experience with LucaNet or other consolidation software and ERP systems
