Engineer Core Banking (m / w / d)

Responsibilities:

• Apply your IT knowledge to responsible tasks and face complexity with a cool head and structured approach. Join our Squad Core Banking Run & Release with currently 7 colleagues.
• We focus on teamwork and solution-oriented approaches to maintain our critical core banking system and its interfaces. If that sounds good, apply now with your resume and help keep the foundation of ING solid at all times.
• Your tasks include:
• Carefully manage our core banking system, ensuring it functions smoothly.
• Operate and modernize our interfaces to the Banking to Go app, internet banking, and back-office systems, including lifecycle management.
• Ensure continuous availability and be thoroughly trained to handle critical moments, including on-call support.
• Modernize applications, improve scalability, and automate surrounding processes and tools.
• Analyze and evaluate changes in our environment and provide well-founded approval recommendations.
• Develop solutions for logging, monitoring, and alerting to stay updated on system status.
• Maintain a focus on IT security and governance, embodying DevOps principles and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, stability, and security.
