Amazon (OTS SC) has an immediate opening for a RAD Area Manager to support our new building RDE1. The Operations Technology Solutions Supply Chain organization manages hardware testing, deployment, new device launches, and project initiatives across Amazon Fulfillment IT. Core Responsibilities:

  • Steer all warehouse flow activities - receive, stow, pick, pack, provision, RMA
  • Steer all dock flow activities – IB and OB
  • Allocate daily and weekly RAD Support AA resources to meet demand
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing trucks with the dock team
  • Monitor weekly and daily forecast vs. capacity for all standard RAD tasks
  • Troubleshoot and support RAD Support AAs in daily activities
  • Ensure correct processing of requests in DSCS
  • Inventory management
  • Monitor and report on KPIs
  • Steer ICQA activities within RDE1 - weekly cycle counts, inventory, physical storage maintenance
  • Monitor threshold levels using DSCS and dashboards
  • Inventory balancing between 3PL and RAD
  • Enforce safety guidelines and conduct H&S audits
  • Create and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
  • Analyze and implement process improvements to maintain high quality and productivity
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes and enhance customer service
  • Analyze shift performance and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with management to standardize practices
  • Build and develop a high-performing team
  • Develop Associates and Process Leads based on their strengths

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completed master’s degree or 5+ years of Amazon experience
  • Ownership mindset; available for overtime during peak seasons
  • Flexible to work any shift (nights, weekends, etc.)
  • Management experience with responsibility for team performance
  • Experience in process improvement and data analysis
  • Fluent in German and English
