Freelance Senior Event Manager (m/f/d) – Remote (Germany-based)

Your mission

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Freelance Senior Event Manager to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of high-profile E-Sports & Gaming events in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of event production—from concept development to post-event analysis—ensuring an exceptional experience for attendees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, and an excellent communicator, with a strong track record in managing complex events and leading cross-functional teams. The position is fully remote and only required on-site for events. The planned deployment period is between May/June and September.

• Develop innovative event concepts and detailed project plans
• Manage end-to-end event production for multiple projects simultaneously
• Source, negotiate, and oversee relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners
• Lead on-site teams to ensure seamless event execution and quick problem resolution
• Analyze post-event feedback to identify areas for future improvement
• Supervise event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations
• Work with national and international clients or companies
• Develop and implement holistic event marketing and live marketing strategies

Your profile

• 5-7 years of experience in event management, with at least 2+ years in a senior or leadership role
• Proven success in organizing large-scale events such as corporate functions, trade shows, or entertainment events
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes with a problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in business English and German
• Freelancer status & based in Germany (fully remote, only required on-site for events)
