We are seeking a creative and driven Senior UX Designer for areas of Drone Control & Gamified Interfaces to craft intuitive, immersive, and ergonomic control interfaces for real-time drone operations and enhance our web-based applications.

Role Overview

As a UX Designer, you will play a key role within our Software Development Team.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Design and prototype user experiences for ground control systems managing single drones, ISR operations, and multi-drone scenarios.
2. Apply UI design principles to create intuitive, engaging interfaces for real-time control systems, inspired by immersive game mechanics.
3. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and drone operators to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.
4. Optimize existing web applications for usability and performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
5. Develop interaction models, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for drone control interfaces.
6. Test, evaluate, and iterate designs based on user feedback and usability studies.
7. Maintain and advocate for UX best practices in real-time system design, considering latency and task prioritization.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a UX Designer, preferably with real-time systems, control interfaces, or gaming industries.
2. Strong understanding of immersive user interaction design.
3. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
4. Experience with usability testing, wireframing, and user-centered design methodologies.
5. Ability to design intuitive interfaces for complex, latency-sensitive systems.
6. Familiarity with responsive and web-based UI/UX patterns.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
8. Background in gaming UI/UX design or VR/AR interfaces is a plus.
9. Understanding of ISR drone control systems, swarming algorithms, and related technologies.
10. Knowledge of aerospace or robotics UX challenges.
11. Experience designing for safety-critical environments.
