Join SCHOTT Pharma as our Area Sales Manager (m/f/d)* at our headquarters in Mainz, Germany

In this pivotal role, you will manage cross-functional and multi-level relationships with regional customers and partners, driving sales growth and maximizing profitability within our Pharma matrix organization.

Your Contribution

  • Develop and execute location-specific sales strategies focused on growth.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for each account.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with local accounts.
  • Initiate and coordinate projects to capture growth potentials.
  • Update the organization on product knowledge, market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
  • Evaluate business opportunities, balancing chances and risks, and communicate risks transparently.
  • Coordinate customer projects in a cross-functional setup.

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business or Life Sciences.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales or a related field, preferably in B2B pharma packaging, biotech, or medical devices.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., LinkedIn, MS Office, CRM, SAP).
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
