Tasks

As a Finance Manager / Accountant (all genders), you will be responsible, together with the VP of Finance and the team, for all finance issues, including accounting, taxes, controlling, and reporting.

In particular:

  • Bookkeeping, reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements;
  • Bookkeeping and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and accruals;
  • Preparation and coordination of the monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and US-GAAP;
  • Participating in audits;
  • Supporting special projects and other ad hoc tasks as assigned;
  • Participating in the design and continuous optimization of IT processes.

To succeed in this role, the following skills are required:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting;
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional accounting experience;
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software, preferably NetSuite, and business management software (e.g., Salesforce);
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel;
  • Fluent in English and German;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Reliability and accountability, especially in handling confidential information;
  • Ability to work independently with disciplined activity planning and goal setting.
