Principal Consultant / Cloud Architect

Principal Consultant opportunity with a rapidly growing boutique consultancy based in Munich. You will play a lead role in data-driven IT projects focused on Azure Cloud Engineering / Architecture. A great opportunity for an experienced Engineer / Consultant to step into a challenging environment and work both internally & externally.

Responsibilities

• Lead roles in data-driven IT projects focused on Azure cloud engineering, including project management and implementation, while building strong customer relationships through excellent service delivery.
• Land & Expand: Identify opportunities and risks in projects and successfully create new roles within existing projects.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction.
• Collaborate closely with tech partners to grow the Azure partnership.
• Coach practice members, driving the success of the Azure cluster.

Key Skills

• >6 years of experience in Cloud / Data Engineering area (AWS or Azure)
• Experience with managing projects as well as hands-on implementation of the Cloud/ area Data Engineering projects
• Excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, Spark; object-oriented). Any other language considered a plus
• Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in the big data areas of Azure
