Responsibilities:

  • Review complex construction documents for the mechanical fabrication and equipment of submarine sections and independently ensure technical feasibility in collaboration with interface partners (e.g., design, procurement, construction supervision, IT).
  • Serve as a contact for technical issues and support electronic fabrication and equipment of submarine sections.
  • Develop basic technical series sequences and check for planning disturbances.
  • Create work instructions to ensure quality requirements and conduct specialized training.
  • Participate in rough planning of work preparation, project calculation, and projects.
  • Lead projects related to Q-reports and error analyses.
  • Provide technical advice on occupational safety.
  • Define specialized qualification profiles and coordinate with master craftsmen (m/w/d).

Profile:

  • Completed vocational training as an industrial or craft master (m/w/d) in mechatronics, metal, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience in submarine construction, shipbuilding, or related fields, with process knowledge in these areas.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate initiative, assertiveness, and improvisation skills.
  • Strong team spirit, communication skills, and adaptability to different interlocutors.
  • Conceptual thinking and creativity, with the ability to develop technical and operational innovations.
